Flying Scotsman flew through Aberdeen station

On Monday July 3 Flying Scotsman visited Aberdeen for the first time since 1964!

The world’s most famous locomotive passed through Aberdeen Railway Station where it was uncoupled, before traveling to Ferryhill Railway Heritage Centre.

Amy Harbour, Commercial Brand Activation Manager for Flying Scotsman said: “The celebrations of Flying Scotsman’s centenary are going incredibly well with the locomotive recently making its way to Doncaster and Aberdeen. This is thanks to all of our partners, especially Riley & Son (E) who finished the overhaul of the locomotive in time for the centenary announcement in October 2022″.
