UK Railtours unveils Christmas charter line up

Although summer is currently in full swing, charter operators have already turned their thoughts to the end of the year.

UK Railtours is no exception and has announced a trio of days out by train visiting Christmas markets in Manchester, Lincoln and Beverley during December. 

The empty stock of UK Railtours’ charter from London to Buxton backs out of the Derbyshire town’s station and into the recently extended Hogshaw Lane sidings on July 13. LES NIXON 

On December 7, UKR will run a train from London King’s Cross to Manchester for the city’s famous Christmas market – one of the largest outside Germany.

Passengers will also have the opportunity to visit Manchester model railway exhibition, which is being held over the same weekend. 

The train will run from London via Oakham and the Hope Valley route with a break of around four hours in Manchester.
