The railway hosted the Railcar Association’s 24th annual convention at Stanhope station during the event.

The Class 108 is seen on October 5 between Wolsingham and Frosterley, returning from Bishop Auckland to Stanhope.

Later, it worked a fish-and-chip special from Stanhope to Bishop Auckland West and return.
