WORK on the overhaul of Severn Valley Railway flagship ‘Hall’ No. 4930 Hagley Hall has progressed to the ‘detail’ stage.
This means the focus has turned away from the larger components to the refurbishment and replacement of the myriad smaller, vital parts.

The bogie is currently on trollies for overhaul and examination, the horns receiving attention in readiness for axlebox fitting, metalling and machining.
